The Angel

Recently completed, The Angel is a short black comedy about two students who, new to London, walk into the wrong pub looking for a pool table and find themselves playing for what feels like their lives. It stars Katie Ellen-Jones and Guido Cavaciuti as the two freshers, Carey Thring and David Mott as the two ex-cons, with Sue Parker-Nutley as the barmaid who leads them into the backroom.

Making The Angel

The Angel could not have been made without the cast and crew giving up their time and skill, without YWAM Harpenden allowing us to build a set in their old factory, or without Alison allowing us to shoot scenes in The Bricklayers' Arms, Luton; to name but a few!.

Thanks must also go to the Royal British Legion in Harpenden for allowing me to borrow furniture and pictures and other assortments. I dedicate The Angel to my father, who helped me in my filmmaking but who died shortly before this one came about.
